Presenters/Organizers Wanted!
Why not dress your clothes on a visitor and introduce the clothes as
well as the country/regions you originate from?
Time: 15:30-16:00 on Feb.20 (Sat.), and 14:50-15:20 on Feb.21 (Sun.), 2010
Place: Main Hall Stage at Meguro Persimmon Hall (1-1-1, Yakumo, Meguro-ku; 7 min. walk from Toritsudaigaku
Station)
Activities: You will dress your clothes on a model. You will then
introduce the clothes as well as the country/regions you originate from
while playing a CD and projecting slides onto the screen.

Why not dance Samba or play a Samba song at a MIFA festival?

Activities: (1)To play "I want to become a wind," a samba song, using an
instrument you like (2) To dance to the samba music.
Those who could give a short samba dance lesson are wanted, too.

Writing in your local language
Would you please introduce to visitors how to write letters of the language
of the area you originate from so that they can deepen their understanding
of your culture.
Time: 12:30-16:00 on Feb.20 (Sat.) and 10:00-16:00 on Feb.21 (Sun.), 2010
Place: Small Hall at Meguro Persimmon Hall
Applicable languages: Arabic, Persian, Devanagari (Hindi), Bengalese, Sinhalese, Burmese, Thai,
Cyril, Mongolic, Korean, etc.

Entrants into International Karaoke Wanted!
Time: 10:00-12:00 on Feb.21 (Sun.), 2010
Place: Main Hall Stage at Meguro Persimmon Hall
Content: A Japanese person; Japanese residents in traditional Japanese clothes
and sing Japanese songs.
Time Limit: 5 min.
Eligibility:
1. To be an international individual or group who live, study, or work in
or near Meguro; to be able to sing songs of his/her country/area or Japanese
songs; to be in its traditional clothes.
2. To be a Japanese individual or group who live, study, or work in or near
Meguro; to be dressed in traditional clothes of overseas and sing a song
as if s/he were a native of the country/area.
Apply: Inform MIFA by Dec.20 (Sun.) of your name, address, telephone number, email
address, nationality, title of your song, lyric and its translation into
Japanese or English, source of music (CD, MD, cassette tape).
Show us how to play games that you know!
Please introduce to visitors playing of the country/area you originate
from (including Japan).

Why not introduce your tea culture?

Activity: To make tea and let visitors drink it while explaning the country/region
you originate from using a map, DVD, CD, etc.
