BAZAAR 2010 (Many goods such as daily necessaries, Japanese goods, dolls, potteries, or Kimino were donated.) * Report on MIFA BAZAAR 2010 * MIFA Bazaar was held on June 8th and 9th. This occasion marked its eighth anniversary. The first day of the bazaar was a “Welcome day for foreign residents.” The second day was open to MIFA members before noon and open to non-members in the afternoon. On the first day, about 30 non-Japanese residents came and shopped. Visitors were from over 10 different countries. Foreign volunteers kindly offered cakes and sweets, visitors enjoyed tea and desserts after their shopping. Some shoppers went back for a second time after the tea break. Many goods such as daily necessaries, Japanese goods, dolls, pottery, Kimono etc. were donated to MIFA. Our thanks go to those who kindly offered goods and as well as to those who kindly came and bought them. The proceeds from the bazaar will be used for the enrichment of MIFA activities. We plan to hold the bazaar at the beginning of June next year as well. We look forward to welcoming you again then!
